Download
Download Noctune for Android TV
For Android TV and Google TV devices. Noctune is distributed directly as a signed app file (APK); there's no Google Play or LG Content Store listing yet.
Noctune is a player only. It doesn't include channels, movies, series or an IPTV subscription. You need a playlist from your own provider.
Not available yet
The first public release of Noctune is being prepared. When it's published, this page will show the download with its version, release date and checksum. Until then there is no official download, so please don't install Noctune files from other sites.
Requirements
- An Android TV or Google TV device running Android 8.0 or later (TVs, streaming boxes and sticks).
- An Xtream Codes playlist from your IPTV provider (server address, username and password).
- An internet connection fast enough for your provider's streams.
Other platforms
An LG webOS app is planned. There's no webOS, iOS, Apple TV, Fire OS or Samsung release, so we don't show store badges.
How to install
- On your TV, install a downloader or file manager app from the Google Play Store.
- Allow that app to install apps: open Settings → Apps → Security & restrictions → Unknown sources and turn it on for the downloader. The menu names vary slightly between brands.
- In the downloader, open
noctuneapp.com/downloadand download the APK. - Open the file and choose Install. When it's done, Noctune appears in your apps.
- Optional: turn Unknown sources off again for the downloader.
Check the file
To confirm the file hasn't been altered, compare its SHA-256 checksum with the one above. On a computer: shasum -a 256 noctune.apk (macOS/Linux) or certutil -hashfile noctune.apk SHA256 (Windows).
Updates
Install a newer version over the existing one; your playlists and settings stay. Android only installs an update over an existing app when both are signed with the same key, so a tampered copy can't replace a genuine install.
